I've been active in property since 2011, starting at just 21 years old. Today, I combine a senior career in the property industry with a personal portfolio of 15 properties and growing. My experience combines professional property expertise with genuine, hands-on investment experience. I've spent my career understanding the industry while building my own buy-to-let portfolio alongside it.

  • My career has been entirely within the property industry. I began my career as an estate agent, working across several firms before joining Chestertons in London, where I have spent the majority of my career. I progressed from estate agent to management and now work at a strategic level, helping lead the brand's global expansion.

    That journey has given me experience across front-line sales, management and international strategy, as well as a detailed understanding of property markets, client relationships and the factors that can make an investment opportunity attractive.

  • I bought my first property, a simple one bedroom flat, at the age of 21.

    That first purchase was the beginning of my personal investment journey. Over the following 15 years, I steadily built a portfolio of 15 properties, primarily through buy-to-let investments.

    Building that portfolio myself has given me first-hand experience of the realities of property investment, from identifying opportunities and negotiating purchases to working with professionals, managing properties and understanding the challenges that can arise along the way.

Why Mumson Investments?

Mumson Investments wasn't originally created as a business. It grew naturally from what we were already doing.

Friends and family began asking me for advice about building their own property portfolios, and we found ourselves helping them navigate the same process we had gone through ourselves.

At the same time, our experience and network meant we were regularly coming across investment opportunities that we couldn't personally take on. We began sharing those opportunities with people within our network, and Mumson Investments developed from there.

The goal is simple: To use the experience, knowledge and network we have built over the years to help other people make more informed property investment decisions.

Why Liverpool?

Liverpool is a market I have personally invested in for more than 10 years.

The city offers an attractive combination of relatively accessible property prices, strong rental demand and the potential for capital growth. Continued regeneration, economic development and investment across the city have contributed to its appeal as a long-term investment market.

For us, the attraction of Liverpool is the relationship between the cost of acquiring a property and the potential rental income it can generate.

Why Middlesbrough?

Middlesbrough offers a different but complementary investment proposition.

With relatively low property prices and the potential for strong rental yields, it can provide an accessible entry point for investors looking to build a buy-to-let portfolio.

The combination of lower acquisition costs and rental demand is what makes Middlesbrough a market worth considering alongside higher-growth locations.

What Do We Want Mumson Investments to Achieve?

Our aim is to build a trusted, exclusive group of investors who want practical, experienced guidance when investing in property. For some, that means building their own buy-to-let portfolio with an experienced property investor alongside them throughout the process. For others, it may simply mean understanding how their available capital could potentially be used to invest in property overall. Ultimately, we want Mumson Investments to be built around long-term relationships, transparency and genuine property experience, not high-pressure sales.
